George

A Very Special Corgi

George was one of the 55 dogs seized in the Weld County neglect case in September.....George, a neutered male Pembroke Welsh Corgi, around three years old; very sweet and quite friendly, if a bit timid, and got very excited and barked happily at mealtimes, which were a messy affair because poor George had no tongue, due to cancer. He drooled a lot, and needed a home where he could have someone wipe his teeth and gums often, and perhaps even use a water pik device.  Luckily Kristen found George and George found Kristen....

Julie,

He did just fine last night...and loved his food. He really chows down. Lucky is a picky eater so I was impressed by his gusto! I'm sending a picture so you can see how he settled right in. Thanks again for everything. He's a great little guy.....

Julie,

We had a busy day today. Here are photos of our bath and George looking like a show dog.
